Melissa Odabash is a successful fashion designer, entrepreneur, fashionista and former model who has cultivated an internationally renowned brand. Her swimwear, beachwear and ready-to-wear dresses are revered as timelessly elegant and effortlessly popular among the world’s most fashionable women.
Melissa launched her first swimwear collection in 1995 and quickly became a fashion editor’s favorite being featured on the covers and in the pages of the world’s top magazines including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, W, InStyle, GQ, Glamour, Marie Claire and the coveted Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.
Melissa’s collection is sold worldwide. Most recently, she opened the doors to her eponymous flagship boutique—ODABASH—in the chic shopping district of Notting Hill, London. ODABASH features the entire Melissa Odabash collection including women’s and children’s apparel and accessories. “It was important for me to create a relaxing and enjoyable environment for women to make self-confident and fashionable decisions at my boutique,” says Melissa. “Women need to feel great to look great.”
The 2008 swimwear collection, which will be in stores February 2008, was inspired by a recent trip to Africa. The combination of earth tones, metallics and animal prints complement her signature tortoise gold and silver accessories and emphasize her approach to wearable, stylish and subtly sexy swim and beachwear.

By far one of my favorite hotels! Cipriani in Venice is surrounded by rose gardens on the water. You can sit outside to eat breakfast while watching the gondolas go by. It is just heaven. Tucked away from the busy streets, yet only a 5-minute boat ride to all of the sites, Cipriani has 5 great restaurants to choose from and the most incredible pool ever. Plus, Italians are so incredibly friendly!

Shore Club
Miami Beach, FL, USA
Shore Club has a great pool area to chill-out in and a very romantic, Moroccan-style bar right on the beach lit by lanterns. Inside, Nobu has great food and you can shop at one of my favorite stores, Scoop. More fabulous shopping is only 5 minutes away from the hotel and the rooms are very clean and modern with views over the beach.

The Mercer

I love the lobby and restaurant in this hotel. Both are always filled with great people and work well for meetings and drinks. The hotel is perfectly situated for a quick weekend in New York as it is central to my favorite street to shop on. You don't have to carry all of your shopping bags - you can just keep dropping them off. The concierge staff is incredibly helpful. Anything you forget, they will be sure to run out and grab for you.

Mandarin Oriental New York

The Mandarin Oriental in New York has the best views of the city from every angle. The rooms are amazingly decorated with such taste. There is a great all-glass bar on the 33rd floor overlooking Central Park. At night, this view is completely breathtaking. This hotel also has the best spa. I do my trunkshows here and every editor that comes is completely blown away by the suite.
